An impressive seven-bedroom detached house with potential for modernisation and extensive gardens, in a peaceful Lincolnshire village setting.

The property is an exceptional former Station Commanders house for RAF Hemswell built in 1939, it has elegant details including ceiling roses and decorative cornicing, while some areas would benefit from modernisation.

Across the front of the ground floor, the kitchen has fitted units to base and wall level, as well as a range cooker, while the large utility room and the boiler room provide further space for appliances and home storage.
The first floor features four bedrooms, all overlooking the rear garden. The generous principal bedroom includes an en suite with a freestanding bathtub and a separate shower. This level also offers a potential area for home working, a store, and a family bathroom. On the second floor, there are three additional bedrooms with dormer windows overlooking the gardens, plus a bathroom with bath.

My experience of these ex Royal Air Force houses is that they are very well built and enjoy lovely large plots and number seven is the pick of the litter with superb views over the green to the front and established gardens to the rear
