About this property

  • Ach Na Creag is situated amongst a group of houses that occupy a south facing slope running down to the edge of Loch Tay. The property was constructed in 1979 and consists of three bedrooms, a dining room, kitchen, utility and conservatory as well as a bathroom and WC. It also has an integral single garage.

The property has been unoccupied for many years and now provides a basic shell requiring comprehensive refurbishment. Planning permission was granted historically (Ref.No: 17/00242/FLL) to reconfigure the existing house to create a comfortable 4 bedroom property with double garage and an open plan living area and bedrooms that make the very best of the incredible view. A purchaser may choose to request renewal of approval for these plans or alternatively seek consent for a house built to their own bespoke design.

Ach Na Creag is positioned at the top of a large garden of about 1.73 acres, most of which stretches out in front of the house. It is approached by a short driveway which leads to a parking area beside the front door. There is lots of scope to create a beautiful garden at Ach Na Creag and existing trees and shrubs include wild roses, rowans and a productive plum tree.

    The boat house plot
Ach na Creag is being sold with about 0.25 acres of the foreshore which comes with the right to launch a boat on the Loch. Plans have been approved (Ref No: 17/00703/FLL) for the construction of a boat house on this site. Currently there is a corrugated iron shed and steps that lead down to an idyllic and private little beach on the loch side. There is a pedestrian right of access (indicated approximately by a red dotted line on the sale plan) which leads directly from Ach na Creag to the boat house plot. Further details are available from the selling agent.
