During the summer months the fishery is opened up as a week or day ticket venue with a maximum of nine anglers on at any one time.

      Blakemere offers superb fishing for specimen Carp, with recorded catches above 33lbs. The mere is home to approximately 200 stunning English fish that include, Tench, Rudd, Roach, Perch, Pike & Eels. The perimeter of the land has been secured with otter proof fencing to protect the stock.
