    • 1 The Doocot comprises the northeast corner of a courtyard development of seven houses. Being set at the rear of the development means it has good privacy with no one going past. It has two pends which lead through to the shared courtyard.
    • Feddinch is a small hamlet of around 20 odd houses built in the grounds of an old mansion in the hills above St Andrews. It is about 2.5 miles from the Westport in the centre of St Andrews with the hospital and Morrisons supermarket being on the near side of the town.
    • St Andrews is renowned worldwide as the Home of Golf. There are now seven golf courses under the management of the St Andrews Links Trust, including the world-famous Old Course which played host to the 150th Open Championship in 2022.
