About this property

  • The design of the exterior of the house has been influenced by the surrounding Georgian architecture but internally is a fantastic modern house finished to a very high standard with a wealth of modern features: low running costs, large kitchen/dining room with bi folding doors to the garden, oak flooring, a beautiful oak and glass open tread central stair case and family bathroom with built-in TV. The flexible accommodation is spread over three floors with two mezzanine levels. From the spacious entrance hall on the ground floor is the utility room fitted with kitchen units, sink, freestanding washer/drying machine and door to outside along with a wc and fifth bedroom/study. Steps lead down to the lower ground floor with underfloor heating, inner lobby with large coats cupboard and door to the kitchen/dining room and guest suite. The kitchen has a good range of fitted kitchen units with plenty of work top space, a ‘Belling' range with a 5-ring gas burner hob, American style fridge-freezer, extractor fan, dishwasher and large kitchen island/bar with marble top. The dining area has plenty of space for a large kitchen/dining table and bi folding doors out to the garden. The guest suite on this floor has French doors to the rear garden and an en suite shower room. On the first floor is the sitting room with bi folding doors out to the balcony with impressive views across Falmouth harbour, a double bedroom with en suite shower room, family bathroom with built-in TV and from this landing there is a short flight of steps up to a mezzanine level with a further two double bedrooms with double height ceilings. On the third floor is a large bedroom/second sitting room with French doors out onto a balcony and impressive views across the harbour. On this floor there is a wc which could easily be enlarged to create a further bathroom if required (see agent notes).
