Mixed use field with unmatched views over the Cathedral city of Winchester and surrounding countryside.
The Land:
The Land at Chilcomb is set within reach of Winchester and the M3. The southern segment of the field has been used for arable purposes. There is a particularly sloped area in the northern part which has been used as pasture land. The field totals 22 acres, half of which is used for arable purposes and the remaining for pasture. The property is well protected with little possibility of public access. There is a footpath in the adjoining fields, running along the western boundary of the subject field. Agricultural access to the field would be achieved via a gate in the south eastern corner of the field from Morestead Road.
Location:
Chilcomb is a small village, located 2 miles east of Winchester on the edge of the South Down National Park. Chilcomb marks the beginning of the South Downs Way as it leaves Winchester and climbs into the downs.
