A charming house with an impressive garden, situated in a small and exclusive development, adjoining lovely countryside.
Newlands is in a lovely position at the heart of Aldersey Park, an exclusive development situated in the rural hamlet of Handley.
Newlands has been a much loved and well maintained home. Constructed in the late sixties, it now offers enormous potential for extension and updating. The house has been cleverly designed to take advantage of the lovely views over open countryside with all the reception rooms having a rear outlook.
A tarmac drive leads to the double garage and there is parking on the drive for a number of cars. Access to the house is under a covered porch.
The front door opens into an entrance hall serving the ground floor rooms and from which the staircase rises to the first floor. The entrance hall has a very attractive parquet floor. To the right of hall is a spacious sitting room with a dual aspect to the front and rear.
The dining room has the same parquet flooring as the entrance hall and this is a very bright room with patio doors providing plenty of natural daylight and stunning views of the garden and of course a useful extension of the entertaining space during the summer months with access out to the patio.
Leading through from the dining room is a well-appointed kitchen with a range of wall and base units and access through to a spacious utility room. There is access to the garage from the utility room and also a door out to the garden.
On the first floor are four good sized bedrooms and a family bathroom. Three of the bedrooms have built-in storage and bedroom two has a wash basin.
The house is set in extensive, beautifully maintained gardens with a range of mature trees and shrubs with a variety of perennial plants.
The garden is bounded by a low hedge giving access to the superb views. There is a paved terrace, ideal for outside dining, plus a useful greenhouse.

The gardens at Newlands are superb. This is such a magical position and I absolutely adore the stunning rural views. What a wonderful place to feel part of a community but also enjoy idyllic countryside.
