Longstone has a private situation close to the Tipperary/Limerick county border. It is 3 kilometres to the south west of the village of Cullen which has two pubs.

For the field sports enthusiast, there is a number of driven and walked-up shoots in the area, as well as snipe shooting.
The Rivers Suir, Mulkear and Blackwater provide fishing for salmon and trout.

Turn right onto Cullen Road and upon reaching the crossroads at Cullen turn right and then immediately left (signposted for Lattin). Continue for about 1 mile until reaching a T-junction.
