  • Distillery House was once the home of Tomdachoille Distillery which is believed to have been active between 1816 and 1878. The traditional characteristics of the property have been carefully preserved externally while inside the house is a beautifully presented modern home which capitalises on its fabulous views.   • Distillery House is situated in an elevated position on the west side of the River Tummel overlooking a piece of ground known as Tomdachoille island. The house has a peaceful setting with glorious views and lots of wildlife on the doorstep. It is, however, very accessible, being only 1.5 miles from Pitlochry and 2.5 miles from the A9. Pitlochry is an attractive and busy town with legal, banking and health services as well as several independent shops. It is also home to the much-loved Pitlochry Festival Theatre. Trains (including a sleeper service) run from Pitlochry to London and Inverness. For a more comprehensive choice of shops and professional services, Perth is about 27 miles to the south. Edinburgh Airport is 68 miles away.
