It is home to the Grade I listed St Augustine’s Church, a prominent landmark owing to its unusual detached wooden bell tower. The A259 lies at the Property’s south-eastern boundary which provides connections to Rye (6.7 miles) and Hastings (19 miles) to the south west. To the east it connects to New Romney (5.7 miles), with Dymchurch, Hythe and Folkestone beyond. Ashford (12.5 miles north) is accessible via the A2070, with Junction 10 of the M20 lying about 13 miles to the north.
