East Renfrewshire Council is inviting offers from business centre and serviced office operators to lease the new Greenlaw Business Centre, Newton Mearns.
Designed by AHR Architects and developed at a cost of around £4 million, Greenlaw Business Centre is nearing completion. It is being constructed over 2 floors around a steel frame structure, with external elevations of facing brick and metal cladding panels along with aluminium powder coated double glazed windows and doors. There will be a fully surfaced car park providing 93 spaces (including 2 electric/hybrid charging points), with landscaped grounds providing amenity space. The Centre extends to 14,000 sq ft (1,300 sq m) of lettable office accommodation with associated meeting space and break-out areas. The building has mechanical air extraction throughout. The Centre benefits from a modern design offering individual room sizes from 160 sq ft (15 sq m) to 1,000 sq ft (94 sq m), with flexibility to enlarge. These rooms can be utilised by single occupiers or offered for a variety of activities such as collaborative working and touch-down space. The building is wired for power and data, with a 100MB on a 1GB bearer fibre broadband connection into the building’s Comms Room, ready for the incoming operator to arrange a service provider.
