The site of the former RBS in Partington offers a prominent, centrally located development site with potential for a range of uses, subject to planning.
The property comprises the cleared site of the former RBS bank in Partington town centre. The site extends to approximately 0.44 acres (0.18 hectares) and is largely square.
The site is accessed directly off Central Road, located between Partington Family Hub and existing residential, and bound to the rear by further residential uses. Opposite the site is Partington retail centre – Partington Shopping Centre – which features convenience retailers including Tesco Express, Heron Foods, Sayers Bakery and food takeaways.
It is therefore anticipated that the site could be developed for a range of uses, although residential is the prevalent use (subject to gaining the necessary planning consents). Trafford Borough Council have indicated that they would support this use subject to reviewing further detail through a planning application.
It is worth noting that Trafford Borough Council wish to see the access road and up to 10 parking spaces retained on the site for use by the Partington Family Hub. An example layout for the parking provision will be provided to interested parties, but all options will be considered.
On behalf of Trafford Borough Council, Savills are delighted to market the former Royal Bank of Scotland premises, within Partington’s town centre.
