Residential Development Opportunity for Five Dwellings
Description
The proposal delivers five high-quality residential dwellings through the sensitive conversion, refurbishment and reconfiguration of the former New Inn public house, together with the construction of two new semi-detached homes accessed from Jacobs Walk.
The scheme provides five three-bedroom family homes, each benefitting from private gardens, off-street parking, electric vehicle charging provision, and associated hard and soft landscaping.
Development Proposal
We are now inviting formal offers for this residential development opportunity, comprising the retention, refurbishment and reconfiguration of the existing New Inn public house to provide three high-quality family homes, together with the development of two new semi-detached dwellings accessed from Jacobs Walk.
The scheme provides five three-bedroom homes with private gardens, residential parking, electric vehicle charging provision, private cycle storage and associated hard and soft landscaping.
The proposal has been carefully designed to preserve and enhance the architectural character of the original public house. External alterations have been kept to a minimum, including the removal of the later linking corridor and the introduction of a new window designed to complement the existing frontage.
The two new-build homes have been designed to complement the surrounding residential character of Jacobs Walk, while maintaining appropriate separation from the existing building and neighbouring properties.
