Constructed in 1870 as part of a model farm, the Grade II Listed building is of notable architectural and historical importance.

The Elephant Barn has become redundant to modern agricultural needs and has remained vacant. The Ernest Cook Trust (ECT), custodians of the wider estate and one of the UK’s leading educational charities, therefore seeks to bring the building back into meaningful use.

ECT is now seeking expressions of interest from established operators to lease the Elephant Barn. ECT is open to funding the required regeneration subject to appropriate lease terms.

Subject to necessary consents, the Elephant Barns lends itself well to a range of alternative uses, including but not necessarily limited to:
