About this property

  • Midway is a charming period property that occupies an enviable position in this sought after Oxfordshire village. Grade II listed it retains a wealth of period features which include; exposed stone and beams, window seats, inglenook fireplace and wooden floor boards.

The property provides good size living accommodation and has been finished to a very high standard by the current owner. It includes a dining room with bathstone fireplace and Clearview wood burner. The sitting room with impressive exposed stone inglenook fireplace with Clearview wood burning stove and walk in storage cupboard. The kitchen has ample cupboard space and finished with a Carrara marble work surface inset with Belfast sink with brass taps and fittings.

There are two good size bedrooms, the principal room with fitted wardrobes and double aspect views, along with a beautifully finished bathroom.

In addition to the main house there is a brick built outbuilding which acts as a garden store/utility.

The rear garden offers privacy and enjoys the south facing sun. Landscaped, it is a mixture of shrub boarders, lawn and seating areas interspersed with mature trees. There is beautiful wisteria on the walls which is glorious at certain times of the year.
