Detached 1930s house with a large garden and close to Addenbrookes hospital.
150 Mowbray Road is a well-proportioned 1930s house which underwent a large extension and refurbishment project in 2016 including but not limited to a large rear extension and insulating rendering to the upper external wall. The house which can be seen in greater detail on the attached floorplan has parking for several cars at the front and large west facing rear garden.
The house is approached behind a brick wall with painted ironmongery and a laurel hedge behind. To the right there is parking and to the left a path leads to the front door.
The property is entered through a vestibule which in turn leads into the hall which communicates with all the principal rooms on the ground floor. To the left is a large kitchen breakfast room which has bi-folding doors leading out to a wide stone terrace and the gardens beyond.
The well-appointed kitchen has a wide range of floor and wall mounted units, polished granite work surfaces and a wide range of Bosch appliances. There is space for a free-standing fridge-freezer. There are two further reception rooms on the ground floor and a shower room with white sanitaryware.
On the first floor a wide landing fans out to four good sized double bedrooms. The master bedroom at the rear with views of the garden has an en suite shower room and there is a large family bathroom.
At the rear the garden is laid mainly to lawn bordered with well stocked beds and interspersed with pear, apple, plum and fig trees.
In all about 0.19 of an acre.

I was surprised by the great proportions of this property and would be intrigued to see these gardens outside of the winter for the other three season the fruit trees must be a delight.Ed Meyer
