Rhosson Uchaf is an historic coastal property that has been sympathetically renovated and restored by the current owners bringing it back to its former glory. The house is Grade II* Listed and the British Listed Buildings website describes it as
The most important survivor of the eight round-chimneyed houses recorded in 1902, of which only Hendre Eynon survives from the others.
The property is brimming with character features like slate flagstone floors, exposed wooden beams, floors, roof timbers, alcoves etc blended with modern touches to produce eye-catching and comfortable accommodation. It has also been used as a successful holiday let by the owners for those looking for an investment as well as a coastal retreat.
Accommodation Ground Floor
Passing the imposing chimney through the main entrance leads into the reception hall with slate flagstone floor and doors leading off to the main reception rooms. On the right is the dining room with slate flagstone floor, exposed beams and the warm focal point of a wood burning stove. Adjacent is the light kitchen with slate flagstone floor, fitted units, Belfast sink and doors leading to outside. On the left of the reception hall is the living room with slate flagstone floor, exposed beams and a wood burner set in an inglenook. A door leads off to the bright and generous size sunroom at the rear of the property overlooking the garden. Another door leads from the living room to a cosy snug room that again features a slate flagstone floor, exposed beams and its own wood burner.
