  • Borthwick is a small hamlet which sits to the south of Edinburgh in beautiful countryside. The hamlet is very picturesque and has its own 15th Century Castle and 18th Century Kirk.
  • North Middleton is the closest village (three quarters of a mile) and boasts an excellent, new primary school and a very popular community centre.
