    • Wester Blackcastle is situated in a rural position to the south of the village of Tarbrax on the border of West Lothian and South Lanarkshire. Primary schooling is available locally at Auchengray with secondary schooling available at Biggar High School. Biggar is an attractive small town with a busy high street with independent shops, cafés, pubs, a delicatessen and butcher. There are sports facilities at the local community campus and there is also a rugby club. Balerno (15 miles) on the western edge of Edinburgh is also home to a number of similar facilities.
