An immaculately presented detached former Mill House

    About this property

    • Old Mill House is an immaculately presented former Mill House which has been lovingly restored by the current owners. Finished to a high standard throughout, the accommodation retains many period features such as exposed beams and floorboards, large windows and feature fireplaces whilst having the modern comforts such as double glazing and partial under floor heating. The entrance hall really sets the tone for the rest of the house and leads to living room and the dining room. Both of these rooms are a delight with all of the period charm you would expect. The inset wood burner in the living room is perfect for those cosy evenings whilst the hidden study off the dining room makes a great office space. The well-equipped galley kitchen with integrated dishwasher, electric oven and hob is a lovely bright space which can be accessed from both the lounge and the dining room and also has convenient access to the parking area. There is also a utility / laundry room on the ground floor.
Stairs rise to a half landing with cloakroom an then up to a spacious landing. The theme continues here with exposed wooden floor boards and a large window which floods the landing with light. The first floor offers a generous principal bedroom as well as two further double bedrooms, a single bedroom and a beautiful family bathroom with roll top bath. There is also access from the first floor to the outside terrace and garden.

      Gardens and Grounds
Old Mill House is approached via a private drive which is shared with just one other property. This leads to a gravelled area to the side of the property which provides parking for several cars as well as a log store and bin store. There is also a separate store/ garage which is accessed adjacent to the front door.
The formal garden has been landscaped to provide two distinct areas with a split-level lawned area, bordered by shrubs and plants and a lovely terraced are which is the perfect spot for some al fresco dining or some sundowners.
