The lovely village of West Charleton is about 1½ miles from Kingsbridge, a popular market town with a vibrant local community. Kingsbridge offers a good range of shops, restaurants and pubs and is home to the renowned secondary school, Kingsbridge Community College (KCC), which is rated as “outstanding” by OFSTED. The stunning surfing beach of Bantham and the equally beautiful Hope Cove are both within 7 miles, as is the highly regarded Thurlestone Golf Club which is one of the most beautiful courses in the South West of England.
