    About this property

    • Rose Cottage is a charming Grade II listed cottage nestled in the centre of the picturesque village of Selborne. The cottage has been thoughtfully and extensively renovated by the current owners and includes a new roof, windows, plumbing and electrics. The property has underfloor heating throughout the ground floor.
The entrance to the cottage is via a pretty porch which provides access into the heart of the cottage. From here you arrive into a formal dining room with brick floor and inglenook fireplace with wood burner. Next door to this is a very homely sitting room with wood flooring, exposed beams and an impressive inglenook fireplace with multi-fuel burner. Further on from the dining room is a family room (potential further bedroom if desired). Also accessed from the dining room is an additional lobby which provides a laundry area leading to a bathroom and access to the second staircase. The kitchen/breakfast room is a bright and characterful space created by the vaulted ceilings and painted beams. The kitchen is a perfect blend of traditional and contemporary styling through the bespoke shaker, hand painted cabinets which are handleless and is well appointed with quartz work tops, built in appliances and Quooker hot water tap. Adjacent to the kitchen is a lobby/boot room area where there is also a cloakroom with shower. Here there is a door out to the rear of the property and a path directly to the garage and drive way, perfect for day to day access.
Upstairs is playfully accessed via two staircases and accommodates a master bedroom which has an en suite bathroom that is well appointed with an air jet bath and separate jetted and steam shower.
