One of the finest houses in the picturesque Coln valley which lends itself beautifully to create a secure family hub.

About this property

Situated in a quiet secluded position on the edge of Winson village, the house sits elevated with views over its gardens and grounds down to the river Coln. The initial approach is private, and access is through high electric gates leading into to a gravelled parking area. The driveway continues past the garaging and cottage towards the house and ends at a Cotswold stone turning circle.

Winson Mill is constructed of Cotswold stone under a slate roof with leaded windows and stone mullions. The house is well laid out to provide excellent entertaining space with the principal reception rooms being approached off the hallway. There is limestone flooring throughout the reception hall, rear hallway and kitchen, with sisal natural floor covering the
    upper hallways.

There are lovely aspects over the gardens and grounds from all the principal rooms. Of particular note is the well-proportioned kitchen/ family room which has double aspect full length windows offering excellent light and access to
    the gardens and swimming pool.

The first floor consists of a large master bedroom with an en suite bathroom and separate dressing room. There are three further en suite bedrooms and a fifth bedroom which is currently used as an office. On the second floor, there are three good sized double bedrooms and a bathroom.

Above the games room on the first floor is a self-contained one bed flat with a kitchen and bathroom. There is access directly outside onto the back driveway.

Prior to our client's ownership the house had been subject to an extensive refurbishment programme and is still presented in excellent condition. There is underfloor heating throughout
    the house.

Set in a beautiful valley this house is the very ideal of a secure family hub where a family can come together, perhaps over multiple generations but still live independently
