Productive Class 3(1) Arable Land
Situation
The Land at East Nether Blelock is situated in rolling countryside to the west of the village of Bankfoot and about 9 miles to the north of Perth. The land is located within a highly productive area which supports thriving arable and livestock farming enterprises and is well served by agricultural merchants and a successful local machinery ring.
Description
The land extends to about 43.43 acres in total and is classified as Grade 3(1) by the James Hutton Institute. Predominantly south facing, the land has a gently sloping aspect and ranges from about 65 metres to 90 metres above sea level, and is suitable for the production of a wide range of arable crops. Divided into five enclosures, the land has good access off a shared private track. The land is currently farmed under an arable contract farming agreement with oil seed rape, oats and barley included within the rotation, with land let for vining peas and seed potatoes.
