Cargill House dates from about 1840 and was originally the manse for Cargill church. It was later sympathetically extended with wings at either end making it a much larger house and giving it quite a presence. Although it looks large, Cargill House has a wonderfully warm and friendly feel. Steps lead up to the front door and vestibule and into the main reception hall. From here there is access to three beautiful reception rooms with large windows framing mesmerising views of the Tay as it flows past the house.
