    About this property

    • Magnificent Bastide in a quiet and green setting, in the sought-after residential Saint François district in Grasse.

Composed of a main building and two villas for the gardener and caretaker respectively, the property is set within a beautiful landscaped French terraced garden of 37,816 sq m planted with Mediterranean trees and fruit trees, hosting a beautiful swimming pool, basins fed by a spring, fountains, ancient statues, plus a splendid glass roof on the eastern part of the land.

The main house of 689.82 sq m comprises a central building adjoining the West and East wings, offering nine bedrooms in total.

The garden level features an entrance hall, a library, an office, a spacious reception room, a dining room, a gallery opening onto the terrace, a generous kitchen with a pantry and a television room.

The upper level offers an extensive reception room serving on either side the two spacious parental suites, each with an adjoining dressing room and bathroom, plus a central area with an office.

The caretaker's villla of 89.86 m² and the garderner's villa of 74.43 m² each offer three bedrooms.

The Bastide, the main part of which was built in 1777, carries an interesting history and belonged to the monks of the Lérins Island Monastery.

The chapel of Saint Francis de Sales is attested since the first half of the 18th century and is also referred to as Saint Barthélémy chapel, patron saint of streams and tanners, in connection with the numerous springs that run through the district and the properties.
