A beautifully presented period house within charming gardens and with attractive views to the Parish Church in a Vale of Belvoir Conservation Village, three miles west of Grantham.
An attractive Grade II listed property of circa 1793, the house occupies a corner position off a minor lane with St Mary and St Peter's Church as a backdrop, within generous and mature south and west facing gardens of about 0.30 of an acre.
The front entrance within the house's pretty mullioned frontage, enters into an entrance hallway which is flanked by two elegant reception rooms, each with high ceilings and period fireplaces. The symmetrical kitchen/breakfast room adjoins a large utility and is conveniently placed for the back door and the conservatory, whilst the kitchen is also attached to the oversized single storey garage and store room wing.
There are three similarly proportioned first floor double bedrooms, each with attractive views. Bedroom one has an en suite shower room, whilst bedrooms two and three are near to the family bathroom, which has a full suite.
Externally, the lawned gardens wrap around the house, largely to the west and south, and incorporate a kitchen garden and mixed species trees with mature hedgerow boundaries and attractive views to the church and over adjoining pasture. A gated driveway provides parking and access to the garage.

I think this a fabulous village house. I was surprised by the symmetrical room proportions and ceiling heights, whilst it has a lovely feel and flow to the accommodation. Couple this with charming period detailing, attractive gardens and lovely village views, and this is a wonderful home in a favoured village three miles from Grantham and its services.James Abbott
