It's possible to ski directly from Chalet Melchior to the gondola in winter, and in summer beautiful hiking trails lead directly from the chalet to the mountains. The chalet offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, and Villars' international schools - Collège Aiglon, Beau Soleil, La Garenne and Pré Fleuri - are just a short drive away.

The chalet's entrance hall opens onto a beautiful open-plan living room with comfortable sofas and armchairs, a large fireplace and a 50' flat-screen TV with SkyTV, SwisscomTV, Netflix and DVD. The dining room seats 10, and sliding glass doors open onto the spacious south-facing wrap-around balcony for alfresco entertaining and access to the garden.
