The garden room has a vaulted ceiling and has been designed to take full advantage of the outlook over the gardens and meadow beyond. The elegant drawing room has a carved marble fireplace and an adjoining dining room provides excellent entertaining space. To the rear the landscaped gardens are undoubtedly a fine feature of the property and have been designed to create an idyllic setting, enhanced by a large meadow to the rear and a paddock to the side. Various areas of interest include a large pond edged with iris plants, decorative rose beds and fruit trees inset into the lawn, clipped box hedging and a brick paved pathway meandering around the boundary of the garden. A large paved sun terrace with an ornamental pond provides excellent ‘al fresco' dining and relaxation space.

To the rear of the garden, a pedestrian gate opens into the large meadow and it is worth noting that there is also vehicular access to this meadow from Winkfield Lane. Situated at the northern edge of the property is a paddock.

NB: Planning permission was granted (12/00791/FUL) on 21/11/12 for the installation of rear facing dormers and rear and front facing velux windows to create an additional second floor with two further bedrooms with en suites. The permission has since lapsed but can be viewed on Bracknell Forest Planning Department web site.

I just love this house and the village location in Maidens Green. It is in good order throughout and offers wonderful views over the picturesque grounds and paddocks. Being west facing it also enjoys sunshine well into the evening from the large terrace. What more could you ask for?!
