A well designed and spacious two bedroom apartment with balcony and parking situated at The Square, one of the best premium developments in York

About this property

  • Apartment 58 is situated within the award winning development built by Nixon Homes in one of York's most sought-after locations on the edge of the outer ring road of York. The Square has been designed to echo an elegant Georgian London Square, with a mature landscaped central garden, mirroring the leafy and open, edge-of-town location.

There is a communal entrance hallway giving access via a staircase to the first floor landing which leads to the apartment.

This light and bright first floor apartment has been decorated throughout with a neutral palette and offers a wonderful open plan L-shaped living/dining room with full height windows providing views to the rear elevation of mature trees. An external door leads from the living area to a west facing balcony with wrought iron railings, perfect for relaxing with your favorite drink and entertaining guests.

The dining area leads to the kitchen with a good range of fitted wall and base units, providing storage and preparation space and benefiting from a range of integrated appliances.

There are two sizeable double bedrooms each benefitting from fitted wardrobes and windows overlooking the front elevation, enhancing the lightness of the space.

Off the spacious hallway is a contemporary bathroom with modern floor to wall tiles with bath and shower over.

The property benefits from an intercom system providing safe and secure access. A perfect addition to the apartment is an allocated parking space and access to the communal bike shed.

The apartment will appeal to buyers of all ages as a comfortable full-time residence, a secure "lock up and leave" proposition or as an investment opportunity.

A great location for commuting with parking and private terrace or for those wishing to enjoy the local amenities that York has to offer. In my opinion this apartment would be a lovely home or an ideal lock up and leave or investment property.
