    Beckside Farmhouse

These date back to the 1930s and are a beautiful base from which to enjoy Ullswater, surrounded by wildlife, trees and a small stream. The ultimate hideaway. The cabins are attractive and traditional, extending to 386 sq.ft completely renovated and finished to the highest standard with modern appliances and heating. The living cabin faces due west towards the Helvellyn range, with open kitchen, dining and lounge area with log burner and large glazed door to a veranda over looking Ullswater.     To the south west of the farmhouse is a large double height traditional stone barn with slate roof and additional single storey building. The buildings are perfectly suited to conversion or re-development subject to the necessary consents.     Land

Additional information

  • Directions: Travel towards Martindale from Pooley Bridge for approximately 4.5 miles. Upon reaching the hamlet of Martindale, continue and follow the signs for Sandwick. After about 0.5 mile make a sharp right turn, again signposted Sandwick. Continue from here until the road reaches its conclusion and the farm is signed Beckside Farm.
