About this property

  • The Squash Court is a wonderful semi-detached converted cottage that was originally built in the early 1900s. Constructed of stone under a slate roof, this unique property offers 1,036 sq ft of accommodation over two floors.

The home has a versatile layout and is centred around a bright and spacious open plan living room with a turned oak staircase leading up to a mezzanine level and plenty of space for dining. Six Velux windows and a glazed gable allow light to fill the room, while the woodburning stove and modern spiral radiators create a cosy environment in the colder months. The galley style kitchen is well appointed with a range of high and low level cabinets, oak worktops and a built in cooker.

There are two well proportioned bedrooms: the principal is located on the ground floor and benefits from an en suite shower room and built in storage. The second is upstairs off the mezzanine with an arched window looking over the main living area and built in storage. A shower room and handy cupboard complete the upper level.

Externally, a sweeping driveway runs round the property to the front door and a parking area and patio.

Further benefits include gas central heating and double glazing throughout.
