The Santa Catarina building is the conversion of an old garage into a multifunctional open space.
The 6,572m² building is located in the heart of Porto, on the non-pedestrianised part of Rua Stª Catarina, one of the city's busiest commercial axes.

The converted garage building benefits from its quiet location within the city block, with outdoor areas linking the ground floor, the first and second floors, an upper floor terrace and a green area, creating a serene environment and engaging atmosphere right in the centre of Porto.
Inside the building, a large car parking area is located on the ground floor, while the first and second floors comprise lounge areas, open work areas, cafeterias, kitchens, bathrooms and storage.
Meeting rooms, a canteen and leisure areas - indoor and outdoor - are distributed throughout the upper floor - communicating with the 804 m² terrace.
The intervention was designed to combine the comfort and aesthetics of the building with current requirements, respecting its industrial legacy.
