    • The property is located approximately 9 miles from the coastal town and beaches of Seascale, approximately 19 miles from the old port town of Whitehaven to the north and the market town of Broughton-in-Furness is approximately 11 miles to the south.
    • Eskdale itself is a tranquil village with a grocery store providing necessary local essentials; the village of Gosforth is situated approximately 6 miles distant and provides visitors with a convenience store, cash machine and a bakery.

    • Income is generated from camping and campervan receipts, deposits, car parking, sale of wood and school groups using the campsite for the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme.
    • Tariffs in the high season range from £10.00 – £27.50 per night; additional charges are applied for extra guests, vehicles, dogs, pup tents, awnings and trailers. Currently there is a minimum stay of two nights at weekends during the summer school holiday season and a minimum of three nights over a bank holiday weekend.
    • Charges for water, sewage, drainage, maintenance and waste are built into the camping tariffs and customers are charged at a daily rate for electricity for the 12 electric hook-up points.
