BARE AGRICULTURAL LAND LOCATED NEAR YTHANBANK
Newseat of Schivas lies on the outskirts of the village of Ythanbank which is situated between Ellon and Turriff in Aberdeenshire.
The land at Newseat of Schivas extends to 140.40 acres (56.82 hectares) of agricultural land arranged over 16 enclosures.
The land is classified by the James Hutton Institute for Soil Research as Class 3(2) arable and temporary grassland. The soils are mainly made up of brown earth soils of the Tarves Series. The land lies between 45m and 70m above sea level.
The fields are of a good size for the efficient working of machinery and are capable of growing a range of crops. The fields are fenced and are generally in good condition. Compartments are accessed either internally field to field or via the public access road.
