    About this property

    • Sitting on a leafy side road of this much sought-after North Yorkshire village, set back from the road behind a stone wall and gravelled drive, April Cottage is an attractive stone built house of near perfect proportions.

The property has undergone a full and well thought out program of renovation by the current owner and is presented in immaculate condition. With wooden flooring across the majority of the ground floor and a plentiful distribution of windows creating the feeling of light and space, the flexible accommodation flows extremely well.

A bright entrance hall makes way to the sitting room which features a large log burning stove. Doors lead open to the newly fitted kitchen-dining room with full height glazed sliding doors leading to the garden. The farmhouse style kitchen has a large range oven, built in appliances and ample cupboard space.

Just off from the kitchen sits the family room, ideal as an addition sitting room, play room or study.

There is a separate utility with built-in cupboards, WC and integrated single garage.

Ascending the stairs to the first floor you will find four bedrooms and three bathrooms (one en suite). A generous cupboard in the landing and additional eaves storage providing useful storage space.

Externally the property has an extremely pretty and low maintenance walled garden to the rear, framed by mature woodland beyond, and a sizeable gravelled driveway to the front.

I really like the situation of April Cottage, tucked away with views towards the surrounding woodland, this property is deceptively spacious and has so much to offer.
