Sunfield House was built to a Canadian design in 2005. Constructed of stone and cedar with a slate roof, it has a striking design. The house is characterised by its timber cladding and an attractive wrap around verandah. The interior of the house has a bright and uplifting atmosphere being on an upper-ground floor level and centred around an impressive open plan living room. With a vaulted ceiling and a huge triple-arched window this room has a light and lofty feel and an elevated view over the garden. A wood burning stove forms a warming focal point during the winter. The living room flows into the dining kitchen where there is space for a large table and access to a sunroom. There is also a double bedroom with en suite shower room and a WC.
