About this property

  • This property is a perfect example of a characterful cottage, set within a quiet village location. Set on an elevated position on Cemetery Lane, steps lead to a grassed area, a perfect space to sit and enjoy the tranquillity of this enviable location.

A porch then leads to a cosy living room, with exposed beams and a working log burner. The kitchen, with solid wood worktops, ceramic butler sink and AGA, is a welcoming room, with an additional area for dining. A stable door opens onto a utility area and WC, with access to the garden.

To the first floor, you will find a principal bedroom with built in wardrobes and a stunning view towards the South Downs. There is another double bedroom, both served by a family bathroom, with the benefit of a separate shower.

Outside, in addition to the grassed area to the front, is an enclosed rear garden, offering a low maintenance outside space, laid to brick paving. There is a summerhouse, currently setup as additional utility space, with plumbing and electricity. This offers a versatile space that could be used as a work from home office.
