About this property

  • This charming country house is in good condition, but but will require investment to turn it into a luxurious Mallorcan finca. It is on a large private plot of about 256,000 m2 and offers a traditional-style home. It enjoys the peace and tranquillity of a mountain location and is just 20 minutes from lovely beaches of Portocolom. The property is located close to the historical Castle of Santueri which could be defined as a sacred place of worship.

The house has a built size of about 1081m2 and comprises 5 large bedrooms boasting incredible mountain views, 3 bathrooms, two of them en-suite, a rustic Mallorquin style kitchen, two spacious living rooms, a dining room and two additional rooms that can be converted into bedrooms or entertainment rooms.

On the ground floor there is a historic mill, a wine cellar and a lot of space that can be used as storage.

The property has electricity and natural spring water. Currently there is no swimming pool but there is a large water deposit that can be used for this purpose.

Local information

  • Felanitx is a very traditional Mallorcan town. Founded in the 13th century, it is famous for the production of ceramics, wine and cognac, products that have become quite well known over the years, even abroad. The medieval Gothic monastery of Sant Salvador stands on a mighty mountain near the village; it seems to be protecting Felantix and its inhabitants. A visit to San Salvador is rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views. Felanitx is also the birthplace of painter Miquel Barceló, a world-famous contemporary artist who has exhibited his work in most of the world's most important art galleries.
