Bondleigh lies between North Tawton and Winkeligh, just off the A3124 which is a link road providing easy access to the A30 at Whiddon Down. The village of Bondleigh itself is positioned on the River Taw, an impressive and renowned Devon river rising on Dartmoor flowing through the Devon countryside to Barnstaple and into the Bristol Channel. North Tawton, just over two miles south, is a small market town full of day to day amenities including independent shops and cafés, post offices, highly regarded pubs, pharmacies and much more.
  • Okehampton, 9.9 miles south, is a larger town offering a full complement of facilities including Waitrose and other supermarkets, leisure centres, restaurants and many retail outlets.
