  • Plaidy is an exclusive residential area just beyond East Looe, comprising of a collection of cliff top properties that separate the sea of Looe Bay from the beautiful Cornish countryside inland.
  • Set between Hannafore Point in the west and Rame Head in the east, Plaidy has a sand and shingle beach, which faces south east, making it fairly sheltered. There is a slipway suitable for launching small craft at high tide, whilst at low tide there are flat rocks providing many rock pools to explore. There are primary and secondary schools up the road at The Barbican as well as two convenience stores, including a Post Office and other local shops.
  • The towns of East and West Looe are set around a busy fishing harbour with a good range of shops, amenities, pubs and restaurants, a doctors surgery and vets, as well as many picturesque streets of quaint fishermen's cottages.
