    Local information

    • The beach is the crown jewel of Becici - with some parts of the beach an impressive 100 metres wide and 2 km long, and containing both pebble areas and sand it places a strong mark on the region. Becici beach is noted for the many colours found in the rocks, pebbles, sand and even sea glass - those whetted to perfection can be found in a private collection in the town of Bijela in Herce Novi.
    • The surrounding area is loaded with different activities and offerings, even for the most imaginative visitors. There are several streams running across Becici beach and into the sea, which are active in the winter and virtually unnoticeable during the summer months. These streams are as much a part of the beauty here as the rocks and pebbles. Apart from the the beach, this cove has a beautiful Orthodox Church, Saint Thomas, which is located on a small hill surrounded by Cyprus trees and other fruitful Mediterranean plants.
    • On the other side of Becici cove is the village of Rafailovici. Even though the sandy beach stretches through this anglers' village, it is also attractive of the large stones that rise up from the sandy beaches along the length of the village. The village is separated into two parts - the newest part of town lies uphill, while the oldest parts of the village lie near the sea. The old village of Rafailovici is home to several interesting landmarks and also features excellent seafood restaurants.
