  • Ufford is a small village within the authority of Suffolk Coastal Council. The village lies approximately 3 miles north of Woodbridge and 13 miles north east of Ipswich. The village is essentially bordered on one side of a triangle by the old A12 and on another by water meadows where a series of footpaths run. The third side borders the parish of Melton. With over 660 residents on the electoral role and close to 30 village organisations/clubs the small village has much to offer its community. The Ufford Heritage Trail takes walkers on a 3 mile walk around the village pointing out places of interest along the route as well as some interesting points of history.
