A stunning Grade II listed Georgian House in The Holt Green Conservation Area.
Holt Green House is listed Grade II under the Planning ( listed buildings and conservation areas) Act 1990 for its special architectural or historical interest. The house dates from the mid 1800s. It lies within the Holt Green Conservation area and is a particularly fine example of the Georgian vernacular. It has been our clients' home for over 32 years. They have undertaken a restoration and improvement programme over that time. The former carriage house has been redeveloped and incorporated into the main house by a cleverly designed linking dining room with glazed roof. Period features abound in the original house and have been replicated in the carriage house conversion.
Noteworthy features include a front door with pilasters, fanlight and open pediment, sash windows, many original fireplaces, doors, cornices and skirting boards. An Amdega conservatory runs along the West facing rear elevation. The rooms are ideally arranged for family use and in addition, the carriage house annex could be easily adapted for independent use.
