Impressive barn conversion set in about 0.51 acres.
The Property
Rode House is a most impressive barn conversion positioned on the edge of the village with mature gardens and spacious accommodation.
The barn was sympathetically converted in 2005 retaining much of the period detail including exposed beams, yet still being a comfortable home with all the modern standards. The house has spacious and well-arranged accommodation over two floors extending to 4,635 sq ft excluding the garaging.
You are welcomed into an impressive reception hall with double height vaulted ceiling. Leading off the reception hall is a generously sized principal bedroom with a dressing room, en suite bathroom and doors leading out to a decked terrace and the garden beyond. The ground floor also provides another good sized bedroom with walk-in wardrobe and en suite shower room, utility room, study, bedroom three and a cinema/bedroom with exposed brickwork and beams.
There are stairs leading off the entrance hall taking you up to the first floor where you'll find the open plan kitchen/ diner and sitting area. This has a very impressive central fireplace and a bridge leading to a shower room and bedroom four with walk-in wardrobe.
Outside
Rode House is approached via a shared drive leading to the double garage, off road parking and a lawned garden. The remaining gardens are to the rear of the property with a decked terrace and graveled seating area perfect for outside dining and entertaining. There are mature gardens backing on to surrounding farmland, with a picket fence to make the most of the open views. In all about 0.51 acres.

This house is very deceptive and you don't realize how much space there is until you step in the door. I was most impressed with the principal bedroom, it is a fantastic size and opens out on to the terrace.
