    • Directions: From Tunbridge Wells, head south on the A267 (Frant Road) for about nine miles, passing through Frant, Mark Cross and Argos Hill. At the roundabout, take the first exit towards Mayfield, then the right-hand turning sign-posted Knowle Hill. Continue straight ahead into Newick Lane and follow this road to the end and turn left onto the A265. After a short distance take the right hand turning onto the B2096 and remain on this road through Cade Street, then turn right into Marklye Lane towards Rushlake Green. On reaching the village green turn left towards Woods Corner, Dallington and Battle, then bear left and turn immediately right into Bodle Street Road. After about about a mile, turn right into Iwood Lane and continue for about 0.7 of a mile to Eygpt House on the right. Take the unmade track on the right and Batsford Farmhouse will be found on the left near the end.
