    • East Mount Road is an attractive and quiet no-through road with a wonderful community spirit, located in an excellent position just off The Mount. This highly regarded part of the Historic Core conservation area of York is well known for its streets of genteel period town houses. The eastern end of the road enjoys open outlooks across a pretty park, a walk way brings you to Scarcroft Primary School (Ofsted rated Outstanding 2009), a little further from here there is Bishopthorpe Road, which has a vibrant selection of independent shops, restaurants and café-delis.
    • The property is perfectly positioned outside the city's historic bar walls of Micklegate (0.2 mile) and all the popular attractions including: York Theatre Royal, the Art Gallery, York Minster, Bettys Tea Rooms and the famous Shambles along with a range of local cafes, shops, restaurants, public houses and supermarkets.
